It’s finally shorts weather! To celebrate, we’re taking a look at how some of our fave celebs are rocking the hottest styles.

While it may seem like summer fashion is all about neons and brights, muted tones are totally in too! We love these mustard-colored shorts that Taylor Swift recently rocked. Wrapping up the Cannes International Film Festival, and looking like a statuesque goddess while doing it, Nicole Kidman rocked the red carpet at the Zulu premiere and closing ceremony for the film festival.

The A-lister (shown here with Ang Lee) went out with a bang, choosing a white silk Giorgio Armani gown with a custom-made bustier and a deep V-neckline. But what really added to the showstopping gown was the gold Swarovski crystal bow detail that swept across the bodice. Um, gorgeous much?

We reached out to celebrity stylist Kristan Serafino for the how-to. (Note: Serafino didn't do Heather's 'do at the premiere, but knows a thing or two about giving good pony. So consider your hair in good hands.)

"Anytime you're trying to put your hair into a sleek ponytail, look towards the ceiling while brushing your hair back, using a boar bristle brush to get it super smooth sans bumps," explains Serafino. "Still looking upwards, secure your hair into a pony with an elastic band, and then resume back to your normal stance.
